Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a type of therapy that deals mostly with your thoughts and how they affect your behaviour. Typically, a treatment plan will be between 8-10 sessions. It is usually defined as talking therapy that is designed to help you rationalise how you are thinking. The outcome of CBT is a change in attitude and behaviour. This is done through talking through your beliefs, attitudes, and thoughts. CBT is most commonly used for; Anxiety, Depression, Stress, OCD, Phobias, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Eating Disorders, Sleep Disorders and Addiction.
